The outfitting includes a heavy-duty construction in marine grade aluminium with a nine-compartment hull subdivision that provides superior survivability in damage conditions. The vessel features a fully redundant twin propulsion setup for enhanced safety and performance. It has a working deck forward with a flat deck area of 4.6 square meters. The center console is combined with the engine casing and equipped with a polycarbonate windshield. An integrated marine grade aluminium hoisting arrangement allows for single point lifting. The hull is constructed from marine grade aluminium, with bottom plating of 6mm, side plating of 5mm, and deck and console plating of 4mm. The design includes four transverse bulkheads and a maximum stiffener spacing of 250mm. All construction materials are class certified. A removable mechanically fixed sprayhood is included. Additional features include a waterjet service compartment with a hinged top cover at the transom and a hinge-mounted dashboard console for full access to technical space below.
The hatches include a diving door in the bulwark on the starboard side for easy injured recovery, with an optional diving door available on the portside bulwark. A large hinged service hatch on the dashboard console front provides service access to dashboard-mounted equipment. The engine compartment is equipped with hinged top/side hatch covers, offering direct access to the engines for service or removal without the need for further disassembly of the boat. There is a deck locker on the foredeck and a full hatch top cover. All hatches are provided with watertight seals and can be opened without tools.
The self-righting system consists of an inflatable flotation bag with a manually activated CO2 system installed on a marine-grade aluminium self-righting frame.
The fender features a double rubber D fender profile at the sides and bow, which is manually attached for ease of service.
The seating includes three shock-mitigating seats for the helmsman, navigator, and one additional crew member, positioned in a single row behind the console. There are eight seated positions on the engine casing in front of the console. The total SOLAS seating arrangement accommodates 21 persons.
The propulsion system includes a fully redundant twin propulsion setup with SOLAS-approved inboard diesel engines and waterjets. The gearbox allows reverse for flushing. It features an indirect seawater cooling system with a heat exchanger on the engine, a seawater strainer, and discharge through a wet exhaust. The steering system is hydraulic, with a manual helm pump and a steering wheel on the console. The fuel system comprises aluminium fuel tanks with an inspection hatch, tank sounder, and emergency shut-off valve. It also includes duplex water-separating fuel filters with a change-over valve. The draining system has a self-bailing deck with large section scuppers at the transom, an automatic bilge system, and a redundant manual bilge pump. The electrical system includes independent start and auxiliary systems powered by three 12V batteries. It features 230VAC/12VDC battery chargers, fuse-protected circuits, an IP67-protected socket for mother vessel power supply, LED navigation lights compliant with COLREG, an LED red flashing beacon, and a handheld searchlight on the console.
The fire-fighting system includes a PTO firefighting pump set positioned on one engine, either at the front or aft. It has a fire pump capacity of 1600 liters per minute at 5 bar. The system features a 316 stainless steel fire monitor with 360-degree horizontal rotation and -65/+90-degree vertical rotation. The monitor is located at the bow over the spray hood and is manually operated, with an optional remotely operated monitor and nozzle. A connector is positioned below the monitor for an optional FiFi hose. Water suction is taken from the hull's integral seachest, and the pump suction and delivery lines are made from thick-walled marine-grade aluminium pipes.
The launching and recovery system includes a single lifting point with a Henriksen 5T SWL automatic off-load release hook. The hoisting system features a fully hull-integral hoisting hook foundation, calculated with a safety factor of 6 against the break load. The hoisting structure has been verified with FEM analysis, and an optional 4-point lifting sling is available. The painter system includes a 2.5T SWL manual on-load release painter hook.
